Will FingerSums run on my computer?

FingerSums runs on computers supported by Adobe AIR. They are :

• Windows :
• Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1

• Mac :
• OS X 10.7 (Lion) and above

What is Adobe AIR?

Adobe AIR is the same technology as Flash player that you install in your browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, etc.).

The difference is that Adobe AIR does not need a browser to run applications in while Flash player does.

Will FingerSums run on my iPad, iPhone?

FingerSums will be coming to your iOS device soon!

Why do I need to install Adobe AIR on my computer?

FingerSums was programmed using Adobe AIR technologies.

If Adobe AIR is not installed on your computer, FingerSums will not run.

Will FingerSums run on my Android tablet or phone?

FingerSums will be coming to your Android device soon!

Do I need to install Adobe AIR into my tablet or phone?

No, you do not.

FingerSums on mobile devices does not require the installation of Adobe AIR.

What is the FingerSums Online-Trainer?

The FingerSums Online-Trainer is used to deliver training over the internet.

It is the interface to connect with our servers to download lessons and play them.

Can I use the FingerSums Online-Trainer forever?

Once your child has completed the training, the Online-Trainer will not be able to download any more lessons from our servers.

But what if I want to train my second child?

To train your second child, you will have to enroll the child with us.

You can use the same Online-Trainer but your child will login with a different username.

Can I enroll all my children at the same time?

Yes, you can.

Each child will be given a different username and their training progress information kept separately.

We have many computers. Can my children train from any of the computers?

Yes, they can train from any computer.

You just need to ensure that each child uses its own username on whichever computer it uses.

What if I change my computer or tablet?

That will not be a problem.

You can re-download the Online-Trainer onto your new device and continue from where you left off.

Can I choose a different language for FingerSums?

You can choose any of the languages that are available for FingerSums. You do not have to pay anything extra.

During login, you can choose the language at the top of the login window. If it is the first time you are using the language, Online-Trainer will download and install it.

After this, you can choose that language as your medium of instruction in FingerSums Online-Trainer.

Is there a time limit to finishing the training?

You will have to finish the training within 6 months.

If you wish to extend the expiry period, please email us one month before the expiry and request for an extension.

Does FingerSums training require a continuous internet connection?

Yes, an internet connection is absolutely required while undergoing training.

However, FingerSums' internet usage is extremely light.

What if my internet connection fails while training?

Our servers keep track of the lessons downloaded and the Online-Trainer continuously updates the servers.

Therefore, even if your internet connection fails, our servers do know at what stage you were at when the connection failed.

Is there a trial version of FingerSums?

Sorry, there is no trial version.

Can I get a refund?

We only refund if you haven't started any lessons. Our servers keep track of lessons downloaded.

If you meet the above condition and we agree to the refund, please note that there will be a 10% administrative charge imposed.
